Analytical Meditation — Benefits and Methods

Lama Tenpa will start a new series of Friday evening practices and talks in September.  The talks are on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month from 7:00 to 8:30.

Lama Tenpa will be giving teachings on benefits and methods of analytical meditation.  Analytical meditation is powerful meditation method for gaining experiential certainty of the nature of mind through using our conceptual and analytical mind.  Analytical meditation always starts with basic shamatha meditation — a way of calming the mind and creating openness of mind and awareness.  Then we engage our mind in exploring specific topics through our meditation.

Join us for this special series of practices and talks.  It will be of benefit to new students as well as advanced students.  Friday evening events are open to all.

The talks are on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month (unless another teaching program is scheduled).

Talks will start promptly at 7pm and people should arrive for meditation at 6:30pm.

Suggested donation is $15.00 per evening.

Everyone is welcome, beginners and advanced students.
