37 Practices of the Bodhisattva

September 12 through December 12, 6:30 to 8:30, with mediation from 6:30 to 7:00

 

Lama Tenpa will teach on the 37 Practices of the Bodhisattva, profound text by Togmey Zangpo on becoming a bodhisattva .  It’s a short text but timely and beautiful and practical.   The talks are Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30.  Please join us at 6:30 for a 30 minute mediation.   Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen is a professor of Buddhist studies and Tibetan language at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.  His teachings are joyful and insightful.

Audience:    Open to all.

Date and Time:  The talks are on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30.    Join us at 6:30 for sitting meditation before the talk.  Talks will start promptly at 7:00 PM.  The talks will run through November 28.

Suggested donation $15 per evening.  Or, $125 for the whole series.  Or, checks or cash at the door.

Bio:  Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen is a professor of Buddhist studies and Tibetan language at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.   He also works with several translators on the translation of Tibetan texts and has begun to train new translators.
