Introduction to Buddhism

The Life of the Buddha and the Spiritual Journey

Wednesday Evenings, April 18  through May 9, 7:00 to 8:30

unnamedThe life of the Buddha and the spiritual journey is a contemporary look at the spiritual journey. Using the life of the Buddha as the template it examines fundamental ideas such as; what brings us to this journey, how do we really get started, what role does faith play in it and how do we tread this path with love and compassion. These are relevant to all traditions and for people of all faiths. The class is based on the teachings and talks of the Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche. Rinpoche is a  contemporary Tibetan Buddhist teacher who has lived most of his life in the U.S. and is very acquainted with western culture, his take on this is delightful, fun and also full of simple, yet profound insight! So please come and join us!

The class runs for 4 sessions starting on Wed. April 18.

Location:  Nalandabodhi, 100 Arapahoe Ave, Suite 6,  Boulder, CO.

The cost is $25.00 plus $15.00 for a copy of the text.
